Rachel Morier

Rachel Morier is the Director of Sustainability at The Beer Store and Brewers’ Distributor Limited. In her role, Morier oversees all aspects of sustainability including environmental stewardship to ensure that all alcoholic beverage containers and associated packaging are reused or recycled at the highest order.

With over 15 years of combined experience in sustainability, consulting and project management, Morier has worked with Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods and retail clients, developed a design guide for sustainable packaging and worked with a not-for-profit industry association to identify sustainable solutions that lead to zero packaging and food waste.

Morier graduated with a Master’s in Environmental Studies at York University and a Graduate Diploma in Business & the Environment from the Schulich School of Business.

In addition to senior leadership and public speaking roles, Morier serves as a board director for several provincial beverage container management programs and sits on the advisory board for the School of Graphic Communications Management at Toronto Metropolitan University.
